I bought this battery to have an extra one to use along with the "official" Canon battery that came with my Rebel XSi.
I can say that after using it for a year it lasts just as long as the regular battery. I have had no issues with it and I don't worry about which battery I have in my camera at any time. It's great to have a reliable backup and the price is right on this one.
I would definitely recommend this product.

I used this battery in my Canon Rebel T1i (EOS500D), which is new enough to not be listed on the battery package explicitly. The batt fit the camera (and in its charger) perfectly. Lifespan seemed comparable to the Canon original (ran both from full to empty in similar shooting conditions, though I didn't count how many shots I got from each).
So far, so good. For half the price of the Canon original part, highly recommended.

This battery looks, fits and performs exactly like the original Canon battery that came with the camera, but at a fraction of the cost of an OEM Canon brand battery. Im a photo entusiat and buy this battery as a backup for my Canon LP-E5, but now im surprise on the quality of this item. It works just like my Canon LP-E5, i havent seen any difference on recharging time and battery life.
It fits like a glove on the Canon charger and on the camera.
And the best thing is.. its half the price as the Canon LP-E5

I've been using this lenmar battery for 2 months now & it works great! After reading the many reviews I decided to make the purchase. I have been pleasantly surprised by the battery life. I use it in my battery grip in conjunction with the OEM canon battery. I use the camera everyday for work & taking pictures with my kids. I only have to recharge both batteries once every 3 or 4 weeks!
