I don't really use this as a travel device. I use it as a cheap USB power rail to trickle charge devices over night. It works well for this and was the cheapest solution I could find.
As others have noted it is *very* slow. With a solid 8 hrs it has no problem fully charging an iPhone, Bluetooth headset, iPad and wireless mouse; however, I keep the original Apple charger around for quick topups.

I have a few usb powered electronics, like skype phone and archos404. It is not convenient to always charge them with computer usb ports. So I ordered this and now I could get upto four small things charged at the same time. Sweet this travel adapter has a few international plug adapters so you could travel the world no worrying about the short of power. Highly recommend it!Customer Review: Perfect!

I took this to West Africa and back without a hitch. It charged my iPad, Droid Incredible and Ipod all at the same time. At the Airport, where outlets are at a premium, I was able to charge everything at once (and even lent one port to a fellow traveler who couldn't find a spare outlet to plug his charger to) I'm buying another because my wife won't return mine.Customer Review: Practical & Useful Device For Travel

I've been using this product for a few months now and find it very useful when traveling out of town. It enables me to charge multiple devices (my iPhone, my fiancee's BlackBerry, her iPod Touch, our Amazon Kindle) with just one charger.
The international adapters included are an added bonus.

I have used this to charge more than one USB compatibile device at a time (I pod touch and older I pod video), both with the USA and the European prongs and it worked great. I would was very satisfied with this product and would recommend this to anyone who needs to charge through a USB cable on the go.
