Customer Review: Fried the first time I used it overseas

I liked this unit until I took it overseas and it fried the first time I plugged it into a 240v outlet, leaving me without any way to charge my iphone. All my other chargers worked fine in the same outlet. (including the new usb charger I had to buy) The Lenmar is under warranty but they charge you 7.50 shipping on top of your cost to pack it and return it, so if you're outside the amazon return window, its almost not worth it. There seem to be others reporting similar failure.

I bought this device to make a charging station for all my battery powered devices. It's the only product I could find that charges more than two USB devices simultaneously, and it works perfectly for this purpose. My only complaint is that, for what it is, I find it fantastically expensive. Single port USB chargers can be had for $2 or $3 on eBay. Why should a four port USB charger cost almost 10X as much as a single port charger? I would have happily paid $10; paying over $20 made me pause a long time.Customer Review: loosey goosey connectors make USB adapter useless

This adapter has potential for having a single wall plug adapter to power up to 4 USB devices for charging & operation. However, the USB connectors are so loosey goosey that inserted cord connectors rarely make good reliable contact. i.e., your cell phone battery is still dead after being plugged in overnight. One email to Lenmar has netted nothing other than the computer -generated acknowledgment. Nice idea, lousy implementation.

I bought this for frequent travel to eliminate the clutter. It is a lot bulkier than I expected & the power output is VERY low. It does not charge a kindle at all (even overnight), although the yellow charge light does come on. Impossible to charge more than 2 things at any one time. On the plus side, it's nice that it comes with various travel adaptors for the different countries. All in all: very disappointing and definitely NOT worth $ 20!Customer Review: bad product

The USB charger ports charge at a very low current, so things don't charge as quickly as the original charger. After 24 hours, my phone was hardly charged more than when I started it. My flip video recorder actually drained its entire battery while plugged in since the display light that turns on while charging consumed more current than what was being supplied by the product. Do not buy this product. It does not charge as claimed.
