Customer Review: Fills a need for the road warrior

I encountered no problems charging the following four devices simultaneously:
Kodak EasyShare M341
T-Mobile MyTouch 3G
iPod Nano 2g
iPod Nano 3g
The only device it couldn't charge was a Motorola RAZR v3T. This is something inherent with that phone, as it wouldn't work with other USB/AC adapters (like the one from Apple). For that phone, you're forced to use a compatible charger.
What I like most about this adapter is the fact that it comes with extra plugs for international use.

This is advertised as being able to charge 4 USB items, but it cannot.
It can charge a single item, but it does not appear to have the amperage to charge more.
I tried 1 Blackberry - it worked.
I tried 2 Blackberries - it did not work.
I tried a Kindle and Blackberry - it did not work.
I tried a phone and Blackberry - - it did not work.
It should have charged all 4 items.
I really wanted this to work as I travel with 3 USB items (Kindle, Blackberry, B.T. headset).

so, let me start by saying that this charges my 3G iPod Touch and various motorola phones i have attached. it appears to have plenty of power. on the down side, they provide several "prong" sets for various socket configurations. unfortunately, they do not latch in very well, and when you try to unplug it, you are concerned that the prong piece may break off. certainly good to have them if you are traveling alot, but i am not sure of the tradeoff if you are just using it around the house, and wanted to unplug it to save electricity.Customer Review: Fantastic!

When I went to Japan, I took lots of USB gadgets (camera, video camera, bluetooth headset, MP3 player) that all charge off USB. This allowed me to keep them all charged using only one outlet. Since Japan outlets and power are so similar to US, I had no problems making it work. And since you typically don't get many outlets in a hotel room over there, this was a great tool to have! It also lightened my load, not having to carry all those other AC adapters. This stays in my travel kit! I'll probably get a second one soon.Customer Review: Convenient, but current-limited.

This is very convenient for having multiple USB charging ports available in a small package. However, it does not provide enough charging current for some of my devices. Specifically, my MiFi 3G modem supports USB charging, but it died while plugged into this unit. To be fair, the dedicated charging adaptor for the MiFi provides 1 amp, so I suppose it is not fair to expect full current from a lightwieht device like this. I still like it, but it would have been nice to use it for all of my devices, not just the low-power ones.
