Just bought a new Motorola Droid and it needed at least 700mA to charge. I can plug it, my Sansa MP3 player, and another cell phone into this and have enough Amps to charge all of them. That alone makes it worth the money. I am tired of buying a new charger(s) every time I get a new phone. With this I can just buy much cheaper data cables ([...] or here at amazon) under $5 and 15 ft+ and have a universal usb-to-outlet adapter (which obviously this is). Great for travel since you only need one adapter and everyone can bring their own data cable for their device. Add the interchangeable head for use overseas and this product not only gets 5 stars but is the best product for what it does on the market. PERIOD.Customer Review: Great product, great bargain

I bought this to replace a single-port wall to usb charger from Target that wouldn't work with my wife's iPhone (Just goes to show that "Universal Serial Bus" isn't so universal, after all). This is cheaper, has four ports, and works great with my G1 phone and with the iPhone. The fact that it comes with different international plugs is a great bonus. I haven't had a chance to try those out yet.
Overall a great buy at the price. Just be mindful while unplugging it from the wall to pull out the entire plug from the wall socket, not just the USB charger part. Not a deal breaker by any measure, though. I highly recommend this, given how ubiquitous USB devices are these days.

Fortunately, mobile devices are finally converging on the USB 5v power standard. Now, if only the world could agree on an electrical outlet standard. This well-made unit addresses both sides of the power adapter challenge. Don't think you'll ever need four USB power ports? At first that's what I thought, too. Now I am already traveling with THREE.
The Lenmar adapter was a godsend on a recent trip overseas. It worked like a charm.
One word of warning: When traveling, one often needs to charge everything overnight. Make sure you bring enough USB cables so all your gadgets can charge at once. The four USB ports are useless without cables.

I had this USB charger for the last week. Due to the reports of failure I took all my chargers with me. All three of them. Not a problem to carry all three but a problem to find outlets when you are on the go. The first night it charged my iPhone and my palm pre no problem. Although I didn't expect it to charge the iPad, I tried all three devices and they all charged no problem. An amazing ability not to look for three plugs or to try to rotate all your devices in one outlet. I had it for less than a week so I can't comment on rate of failure. I needed a multiple (greater then 2)port USB charger for travel and Amazon is the only place I could find a USB charger with more then 2 ports. Between my wife and me we have 5 USB devices that need charged each night. The unit worked well except it will not charge My Sony PS-505 reader. That I believe is unique to the Sony reader. It will only charge on my laptop USB?
The charger works great, nice design and comes with a number of world compatible plugs, which I use in Asia. The adapter plug could be a little tighter fit. it hangs off from the wall plug a little bit but has not unplugged itself so far.
I would recommnend the unit.
