I have to say that I am impressed by this product. When the UPS guy arrived at my house I have to say that I was afraid. The box he handed to me had a sticker that said "FRAGILE" on it, but the box was completely destroyed. I can only imagine what happened to it on its way to me, but because it was well constructed it stayed awesome!Customer Review: Great solution

I wanted a way to use my laptop while resting in my recliner. There are a lot of expensive gizmos on the market to meet the need but nothing that meets the need as simply and inexpensively as this Lap Desk. I like that this lapdesk is lighter than most, and the padding is more than adequate for my large laptop. Other reviewers had noted that the plastic top is not very rigid, and I agree with that, but I don't think it compromises the computer fan or heat dissipation in any great fashion. This desk is great for laptop computers. It keeps the battery much cooler than holding the computer directly on your lap. The bottom side of the desk molds to your lap in any position you want to sit and holds the computer level and stable. Has a pencil tray and a little extra surface area.
