These mics are awesome. We recently held a Board of Directors meeting and I had one of my staff wire up a small hobby box with 4 jacks and parallel each mic together. Unfortunately because of how they are wired, we could not figure out how to wire a POT to each mic. But simply using them in Parallel works great. For the price and a small investment (under $10 for parts) we mic'd a 30 x 20 board room with very high ceilings. We used Express Dictate to capture the meeting and all worked very well. I purchased 2 other style mics that take batteries, but these were by far the best to use with a computer.Customer Review: Fast and easy set up

This mic rocks!
It took me 5min to set this up (that includes opening the package) before I was chatting away online.
While I cannot say for sure, my wife says I am clear and crisp over the computer. The mic sits on the other side of my keyboard, and I can be heard clearly.
Using Ventrilo, people have no problem hearing me or understanding me.
This product is highly worth the price, and works wonders. I do not have to have it 2in from my face!! Works better than $20-30 mics I have bought in the past.

This microphone is horribly, horribly ugly. That's okay, because it's an awesomely performing device. This tends to retail for $10, but I've bought two for $5 now. It has extremely high quality for such a low price. I use this weekly on a skype call with three people in a living room and everyone can clearly be heard. It will pick up everything due to the nature of its design, including computer fans if left close to a laptop. I haven't used any other mics of this type. I'm sure there are better. But are there better ones for $5? Not that I've found.Customer Review: Incredible

I am shocked at the quality. When I bought this mic I expected so so quality sound at best. I also expect it wouldn't have great pick up at distance. Well I am surprised at how this little bugger works. It sits on my desk a couple of feet from my mouth and picks up sound perfectly. It has incredible sound with little static. I was really shocked at how natural this mic sounded. I use it mainly for gaming purposes, but I am sure this would work wonders for phone, or even dictation due to it's clarity.Customer Review: Excellent omni directional mic

This is a great mic as long as you remember that is is an omni directional sound pickup device, so yes, it will pick up sounds from all around - it's supposed to.
The quality of the sound from this mic is amazing. I've taped this little gem to the mic boom on my (much more expensive) headset when I record sound notes. It beats the mic on my headset hands down.
I like it so much I bought a couple of dozen of them for business use.
