Customer Review: If problems occur, replace battery
Summary: 4 Stars

I bought this mouse for my little brother and we've had it for almost 2 months now and I can say that I am very satisfied with it. It works great for people with smaller hands. It is very comfortable to use for many hours and very sensitive. It works on most surfaces and does what it's supposed to do. Another nice feature is the storage for the usb when traveling.

About 2 weeks ago I started experiencing problems with sensitivity and movement, at first I tried cleaning the table it was used on but I soon realized that the battery was dying. I was a little upset to see that it only takes 2 months for the battery to die, but it could have also been sitting for a while. The usb can often get in the way if it is attached to the side of the laptop.

Overall a great wireless mouse, just try to plug the usb port into the back away from people passing by and keep some spare batteries on hand.

Customer Review: Some Fundamental Flaws...
Summary: 2 Stars

Pros:
Works over insanely long distances.
Ergonomic design.
Batteries last a long time, even leaving mouse "on".

Cons:
Flaky click action: left mouse click often double clicks (when I only click once) or has problems when holding down the button (have to really press firmly sometimes).
Bloated, memory-intensive software (I don't use it) with limited customization.

So why 2 stars? Mice have been around for a loooong time, smooth, consistent click action is expected on even the cheapest mouse. The flakiness of the left click can frustrate when playing a computer game or working with a spreadsheet, and because it's such an integral part of the mousing experience, I can only give the mouse 2 stars. This follows my generally bad experiences with entry-level Logitech products being of a sub-par build quality and prone to break.

Customer Review: Very Poor Quality Product!
Summary: 1 Stars

I just bought a Logitech V220 wireless mouse for my wife's new netbook .We dont like touchpads and Logitech has a good reputation albeit not like Microsoft.I guess my mistake was buing a factory refurbished product. When the mouse arrived it didnt have any accompanying software with it,but i went to their website and downloaded the driver with no problem. Then i tried to plug in the USB gizmo which came with it and it DISINTEGRATED IN MY HAND...LITERALLY.The plastic USB housing came off exposing the circuit board inside.I tried to put it back together and use it anyway, but it wont work.Of course, the mouse is worthless without the usb unit, so i guess I'll look for another mouse and it wont be a Logitech brand. I must also say that the housing of the mouse itself seems very fragile compared to other mice i have used over the years.I seriously doubt it would hold up for very long.

Customer Review: Logitech V220 laptop mouse
Summary: 4 Stars

I just downloaded setpoint (or whatever) to get the mouse moving. It is not as easy as the insert says, "--- go to [...]... Select V220 Cordless Optical Mouse for Notebooks, choose operating system, select download." V220 is not the model number, which is a bit confusing.
Also, the "on" light dies after 2 or 3 seconds so I was not sure if the battery was okay or not. I finally gave up and decided that it was supposed to die out.
(Yes, it is, since it is on the bottom of the mouse, no one will see it anyway!)

I dropped it on the floor and the back cover (where you insert the battery) went flying and I still can't find it. It must be under the sofa or inside the vacuum cleaner now. My poor mouse looks not naked but crippled! But since the battery is still snug in its compartment, it works. I've gotten used to using it "backless" now though.

Customer Review: Great little product!
Summary: 5 Stars

I bought one for my first laptop and loved it. When we got my youngest son a laptop I bought this mouse with it. When my wife took over "our" laptop I got one for myself and bought this mouse at the same time. I wouldn't even get the laptop without it. Then my oldest son saw the mouse and wanted one too, so I ended up getting him one too. So that makes four of these purchased so far and they are all still working great, battery life is great because when you put the USB fob back in it's place under the mouse it automatically turns it off. A concept my youngest has not grasped all that well yet, even though the battery is holding up well. The feel of the clicks and the roll of the wheel are all very good. I've sat and used this mouse for hours with no fatigue at all and considering it's small size and my big hand that is something said for the nice design.
