Customer Review: not as easy as it sounds

I watched videos on how to change the IPod battery because these instructions that come with the battery were almost too simple. Everything says it is easy to change the battery. I did not have an easy time though and I couldn't find any tips to help. The hardest parts were opening the IPod and taking out the battery. I feel like these things took a lot of force and that was not described. I was very worried about breaking something since all of the sources make this look so easy!
My husband and I had to work together on changing the battery. He is decent with electronics and even he was not very satisfied with the lack of description or lack of tips if you have difficulties. We just forced the IPod open and forced the battery out. I almost thought the plastic tools that come with the battery were going to break. They were not super helpful. We used a screwdriver and wedged a knife into the IPod, which does not sound safe and I don't recommend it! But the tools were uncomfortable to hold onto and small. In the end, it is worth it though.
The new battery is pretty great. I forgot how awesome it is to put in my ear buds and listen to music for hours. With my old battery I couldn't even get through an entire album before it would die on me.
