I purchased the replacement battery for my dell inspiron from other vendors obtained by clicking the link 'used and new'. But the item I received was not of LENMAR and is always in the charging state showing a 99% even after plugged in for hours. Does not even have a brand name printed on it. So I am going to return it and buy from Amazon as I was told that that they are selling the original LENMAR product. It will be better you e-mail the seller and enquire if it is the original LENMAR or some 'nameless' alternative.

The LENMAR product product I got from Amazon is giving me 2 hrs backup time. It is lighter than the other one mentioned above, Came in good condition and fits well with my inspiron 6000. But for this one too, rarely have I seen it saying charge complete. Charge indicator stayed at 99% for 6 months and now stays at 97-98% charge even after keeping connected to mains for hours. May be a communication issue. For the price paid it works very well. would recommend.

Update:- 04/02/2010

After nearly 18 months of use, it is working well. Now showing at 100% charge. Gets back up for almost 90 minutes. Worth well the money spent.
