This is a Lenmar DLC5L "replacement". It flops around loosely in the charger. When opening the battery/SD card compartment the battery pops out, meaning you have to remove it to access the memory card.
You would think Lenmar would take the Canon original, copy its shape, and sell a cheaper version. Shave a millimeter here and there to avoid a patent lawsuit? I'm getting the original, expensive though it is.

The Lenmar battery supplied did not take a charge from the Canon battery charger CB-2LX supplied with the camera. Finding this to be the case with the battery received, I obtained permission to return it for exchange. But the second battery also did not take a charge. Digital Media Source has been very good to work with in readily accepting the exchange of the first battery and the return of the second battery.Customer Review: Doesn't last that long

I bought a Lenmar for my older Canon SD1000 some time ago, and it was mostly fine.
This one, however, doesn't last half-as-long as the factory battery for my Canon SX210.
So, I give it two stars for being a cheap, emergency power back-up, but DON'T rely on this
battery as your primary source for power when you head out for a long days' shooting or you'll be left with no way to take pictures.

The Lenmar battery fits and works fine with my Canon SD850. I have been using it intensively, and found that it does not hold a charge as well as the original Canon battery - between 151 to 226 shots against 356 with the original Canon battery. It does work great for its price. But if you expect to use your camera intensively, and do not wish to carry multiple spares, you may wish to invest in the original.Customer Review: Excellent product and price

The battery arrived exactly as described EXCEPT that its' capacity was understated by a small amount. Original Canon battery is 1120 mAh while this one is 1300 mAh. Who can complain at receiving a higher capacity battery in the advertised form factor for a fraction of the MSRP? Excellent product and price. Oh and I've used this battery in my Canon SD 800IS for seven months without fault. Great battery!
