Great battery. I first bought a replacement battery at BestBatt dot com and after a few uses, that battery was only able to take 5-6 photos before needing to be recharged. I then bought this Lenmar battery through Amazon and was amazed at how long it lasted. It seems as good as the original Canon battery and I'm really happy with it. I bought 2 of these for well less than a single "branded" replacement and have been very satisfied. Not only does it hold a charge as long or longer than my original battery, they were so cheap I have a backup as well. Purchased 2 since the price was affordable. My Canon battery was working fine, but I needed extra battery power for hiking/backpacking trips when I was away from a power outlet for days.
I have not noticed any difference in performance between my original Canon battery and the Lenmar units.

Have had some bad luck with generic batteries for my canon digital camera, but no longer. I have had this battery for a month now and it has lasted as long as the original canon battery did when it was new. I have taken approximately 300 pictures and 5-10 videos with the new battery and only charged it once.Customer Review: Great Battery!

I bought two of these for vacation so I wouldn't have that...oh no, battery is dead at that just the right time. I am very pleased with these. They last longer then the one that came with my camera and work flawlessly. I would recomend this battery to anyone thinking of buying a more expensive one.
