Finally, I don't have to keep unplugging one item to charge another! I had no idea products like these were even available, but holy cow does it make life easier. I do roadside assistance and I have a GPS, an iPhone, and another cell phone plus a portable tire inflator. That's FOUR items I have to keep plugged in.
This thing is a MUST have item! I love it.

We already had a power port similiar to this (with only two sockets) but it did not hold the adapters in tightly. They would constantly come unplugged and we would lose power to the portable DVD players and have to go all through the menu again and scene selections. This one is great! It tightly held the adapters and we have had no power loss problems.Customer Review: piece of crap

Well this thing looked good and felt like a quality piece, but worked for exactly one day. I really have no idea why it has stopped working - it looks fine but there is no power to the ports. Other reviewers have had similar problems. I would avoid this particular power port since it seems to have a significant percentage of non-functioning units.Customer Review: works, but could be better

The sockets on this unit don't hold plugs in very well. Plugs will work their way out of the sockets after several days of driving. The mounting tape that came with this unit held to my dash for less than one night; some Home Depot mounting velcro works better. Otherwise, this product does its job of providing more 12 V outlets in the vehicle.Customer Review: Add number of power outlets

Have used this power port on several trips and actually around town. We can leave our music adapter and GPS plugged in all the time and still have open sockets for the phone charger(s) in the crowd. I love it. We have a tray in the van that this sits on (I didn't adhere it to anything), so folks in the backseat can reach. Nice!
