The only thing that would make this power port better would be if it had been installed in the car originally. The power cord is long enough to put the port anywhere to keep it handy, short enough not to have a long cord at your feet, and easily usable for laptops, cell phones, and other power adapters. This has made our travel so much more enjoyable since we're not switching devices in the power socket.Customer Review: Power Port works perfectly

I was in need of a multi DC power socket and this was one I just selected that seems fair for the price. I have all 4 accessed and each one provides a solid connection for the accessories. I am using this predominantly outside in a homemade observatory for telescopes and could not be happier with the quality. In the past I have had splitters that were poorly made and intermittently had connection interruptions as the car drove down the highway hitting bumps and holes in the road. This is not the case with the Lenmar SPP-04 Power Port 4 outlet splitter. It is well constructed and I have had no trouble with loose connections. I bought 2 of these. One only worked for a couple of weeks. The 2nd one lasted a few months. Then the "male" end fell apart INSIDE my car's lighter assembly & I had to fish it out w/a needle-nose pliers -w/the car shut OFF, of course.
They were great when they worked. I'd love to find a couple of multi-way adapters that will work & last @ least a couple of years.

The power port works great - Am able to run GPS, phone charger & other applicances with no problem, though I have only tested 3 at once, not 4. No blown fuses, though. The device is about palm sized. The double-sized tape (provided to attach the adapter to the center console or somewhere inside the car) doesn't really hold very well at all, but I plan to use superglue... :)
