Great, accurate sound in a small package. Small enough to pick up (one handed) and move to another room in the house or even take with you to the vacation cabin. Big enough sound to fill the kitchen and dining room easily and still hear it two rooms over. Only thing keeping me from giving it five stars is a little bit of distortion on heavy bass at full volume. I don't think I could've found better quality for the price. I have looked at this player and the Bose for several weeks now and decided on this one for several reasons... first the sound quality is very good and I noticed no difference between it and the Bose.... AND it was $100 cheaper than Bose. Also you can plug iPods and MP3 players into it as well as a laptop.... AND it runs video on your iPod which Bose does not... overall I just liked it better and spent the extra $100 on new music :)Customer Review: Love the SXT despite the battery issue

This is the second SXT that I have owned. The first one worked great out of the box. Sound for the money is outstanding. Easy to use. The second SXT was not quite as easy. When received the remote did not work. I contacted Amazon and they sent out a replacement system the same day. Unfortunately the next system had the same problem. The sound on this speaker is great and can be set pretty loud when it is used for a party or lower if you wish. The only thing that i did not know about this product was that it does not charge my iPod while it is playing, and that was dissapointing. But the sound is so great that i kept the speaker, and the size is great for taking to parties and is not cumbersome. Klipsch speakers are always great. gigiCustomer Review: BAMM!!!

Wow, tiny package, great low price, and a sound quality that will bring you to your knees. Yes, it is pretty bassy, for me, that kicks. I can see however how that might bother some. Although, you might be able to adjust the EQ on your ipod to make this less of a problem. This little unit has met and exceeded my expectations, by far the highest quality unit for the size and price. Highly recommended.
