We received what was supposed to be a new product. It was obvious the box had been opened and re-taped. When we unpacked the item, the remote was not with it and there were other parts to something that did not appear to belong to the product. However, the system's sound is very good and we would be extremely pleased if a new rather than refurbished or used one had been sent. I've just notified them of the problem so my rating may be different depending on their response.Customer Review: Great Buy!

After 5 minutes of searching for IPod docks, I was sold. This not only exceeds functional expectations and destroys the usual skepticism, it looks good. I love it. The price was much less than what I'd be willing to pay for a product of this quality. The only issue I have(and it's probably easy to resolve) sometimes I have to turn the power off and back on or the IPod pauses playback to let me know it's charged. This iPOD System is very nice and sits in our kitchen, it provides a big sound that fills the whole downstairs and there is no loss of fidelity. For a small 2 speaker system it captures all of the high's and lows very well only lacking a subwoofer for depth on really deep bass tones.
The remote is a definite bonus and has good range, the ability to change tracks, pause and increase volume from across the room is nice.
Glad I purchased this product.

This docking station provides very good sound for a relatively small docking station; good value.
Pros:
- sound quality
- adapters provided to allow docking with multiple iPods (standard, nano, etc.)
- flexible power supply (110 - 240v)
- small, credit-card sized remote
Cons:
- bulky "brick" power supply
- will not charge 4th generation iPods
- very short battery life with remote

My parents purchased this unit over a year ago and it works perfectly. We didn't want to be tied down to just using headphones since we want to be able to enjoy the Ipod as a family from anywhere in the house. There are a ton of volume variances on the unit to suit anyone listening. The only issue I have with it and it is minor is that each time you turn it on you have to adjust to volume. It doesn't stay at the volume you had it on when you turned it off.
