I received the item I ordered from ZiroIs very quickly. It looked fine, but I could not format this thumb drive as the instructions stated. I sought help from the brand Kingston, and they walked me through a few troubleshooters. Apparently, since there are no numbers on the connector part of this thumb drive, it is an imposter. I contacted ZiroIs and they sent a replacement very quickly. It, too, was an imposter, but it came formatted and it worked, so I am using it.Customer Review: Item from freedomoclock is a counterfeit

This should never have been sold. Now that I know what to look for, it is obvious even through the packaging that this is a counterfeit item. I would give 0 stars if I could because this item is not what it represents to be and can never perform the function for which it was purchased. It is not just a no-name 64GB with a fake Kingston label, it is a 1GB chip with forged metadata indicating it is 64. This was purchased through the Amazon site via "Freedom O'Clock".Customer Review: i feel totally cheated. NO COMPRE ESTA BASURA

the memories do not work at all, they are damaged. i buy items in amazon constantly and never had a problem like this. this is not a serious seller.
i lost my money with this . how come amazon don't supervise this kind of sellers???
i have been written since i received this item, and nobody answer me or resolve the problem.
i would like that someone contact me and resolve this problem inmediately.. i feel totally cheated.

The storage capacity seems fine. However, I am using the DataTraveler with an Apple laptop. Unlike every other USB Flash drive I have, this unit will not make itself recognized when I re-start the machine. Instead, it needs to be unplugged, then replugged in if it is to be recognized by the system. It is not the Mac OS that is the problem, because all of my other USB devices and other storage cards are recognized automatically.Customer Review: Counterfeit!! Update!!!!!!! My son took this flash drive from me after stopped working 3 months and said it was a counterfeit and only had 3gb inside. It stopped working after 3 months of just using for small files occasionally as i had other flash drives i used more frequently. I am very disappointed that Amazon would allow a counterfeit product into its store I would give it zero stars now
