Digital Cameras Photo Reviews of 64GB DataTraveler DT150Customer Review: Beware counterfeits Summary: 1 Stars
Mine didn't work properly, right out of the box. After copying several hundred files to it, the previously copied files started getting overwritten by the new ones. I contacted the seller (Cornerstone Mktg) was issued a refund, but two of the six comments on his site also had problems and were issued refunds. Kingston tech support says they have been seeing a lot of counterfeits, and indeed mine has no serial number inscribed on the USB connector which is an indication that the unit is counterfeit according to Kingston.
Customer Review: A big drive in a small package Summary: 5 Stars
It's more than most could ask for! You have 64 GBs. in a key chain size package. It's a flash drive so that means no moving parts to mess up your day if things go wrong. I love it!! Looking back to my first PC , I thought a 4 GB. hard drive was more than enough, and that was pretty much correct, for the time. Today, at this price, you can carry 64 GB's in your pocket!! That's HUGE! I have no complaints AT ALL about this purchase! Made by a very reputable manufacturer, I don't see how you can go wrong!
Customer Review: USB Secondary Boot Drive Summary: 5 Stars
An excellent device for the use as a Secondary Boot Drive. This has allowed me to install another Windows OS (Windows XP Pro) for use on my Laptop. By utilizing a USB Drive, I am able to have multiple Operating Systems and at the same time mantain the Laptop in a pristine condition. With very little impact on the original OS and the Hard Drive. Kingston DataTraveler 64 GB USB 2.0 Flash Drive DT150/64GB (Red/Black)
Customer Review: Traveling office Summary: 5 Stars
I have my entire office workload, archives and all, and Outlook files as well, stored on this amazing drive. Each night, besides my regular backup, I backup changed and new files to this device. The device is fast, so backing up to it (or copying files to it) takes little time. Then I put the drive in my pocket and have it with me wherever I go. This is the ultimate backup; I could - if necessary - restart my entire business anywhere in the world without missing a beat. I recommend this drive highly.
Customer Review: worth every penny, but not a penny more Summary: 3 Stars
One can tell at first glance that every penny of the production cost on this drive went into memory. The case is flimsy and was splitting open when I opened the product's package. Moreover, the red graphics on the drive are no more than a printed vinyl sticker, which was peeling. The drive had a little trouble initially communicating with my Macbook Pro running Leopard, but my Windows machine had no problem. All that said, it makes no claims beyond what it is: a lot of memory, cheap.
