Digital Cameras Photo Reviews of 64GB DataTraveler DT150Customer Review: Generally satisfied Summary: 3 Stars
The main thing is that it's big. Read performance is often near 20 MB/s. Write performance is 3-5 MB/s for a single large file, but barely a tenth of that for a directory containing many small files. Mechanical construction is disappointing. It's a plastic shell wrapped in a thin printed layer that will likely not survive long in a pocket. At least it stores the cap. In nearly a month of use, I haven't noticed any operational glitches. I'm generally satisfied, but if I had it to do again, I'd probably make a different choice, even a smaller drive with better mechanical construction.

Day one the Kingston DataTraveler 64 GB dismounts ceaselessly. The drive was purchased to replace a Sandisk Cruzer 16 GB given the extended capacity. I have tried every possible method of formatting without success. The DataTraveler 150 64 GB dismounts ceaselessly. An email to Kingston tech support resulted in advice to format the drive yet again. A second email to Kingston tech support resulted in advice to return the drive to the place of purchase. And of course the place of purchase will not accept the item for return... I have never had an issue with the Sandisk product.
Customer Review: 64 GB Kingston Data Traveler Summary: 1 Stars
I have tried to back up my computer's hard drive on my "new" 64 GB USB drive a number of times and it just will not work. The folders copy onto it, but instead of actual picture files, all that comes up are corrupt files that won't open. I have cleared it out and tried, formatted it and tried, and nothing works. I will be contacting Kingston, the manufacturer of the drive, and then contacting the seller about my issues. It is very frustrating to spend money on something that doesn't work. If anyone has any suggestions, please make a comment and let me know. Thanks.
Customer Review: Great product Summary: 5 Stars
I have using this flash drive for a year in my BMW 335 USB drive interface with no working problems and achieve a very fast data transfer rate. The only issue is that it's a little bit longer than other flash drives, so I have to cut a 3mm slice at the very top of the unit to let fix under the arm rest of my car and plug the device in the vertical usb port. I don't understand why Kingston did this unit so long because all the electronic board inside are much shorter than the case. But anyway a very nice high capacity device at an attractive price.
Customer Review: FRUSTRATION Summary: 1 Stars
THE FLASH DRIVE I BOUGHT - KINGSTON DATA TRAVELER 64 GB 2.0 FLASH DRIVE - I COULDN'T USE BECAUSE SINCE THE FIRST TIME I TRIED TO SAVE A FILE APPEARED A MESSAGE "NOT FORMATED". IN THE SAME DAY I RECEIVED FLASH DRIVE I SENT A E-MAIL TO AMAZON AND THE SELLER (AN AMAZON PARTNER) ASKING WHAT TO DO. AMAZON TOLD ME THAT SENT MESSAGE TO SELLER AND THE ANSWER I HAD FROM SUPPLIER NOT CONVINCED ME. SO, MY OPTION WAS CONSIDER MY MONEY LOST AND NEVER BUY ANYTHING FROM THIS AMAZON PARTNER. IT WAS THE FIRST TIME I HAD A PROBLEM BUYING IN AMAZON SITE.
