Don't let the negative reviews of this flash drive scare you away. They are the result, for the most part, of being sold counterfeits of this product. Counterfeits have been flooding the market and the sellers are not being careful or perhaps dishonest.
It is a great flash drive -- just check from whom you are purchasing.

Wow, I actually have a very difficult time wondering why so many up, down, up, down and in between reviews are here? I will do my best to keep my words tight, aptful and as quickly as possible...
I bought this exact model 64GB Kingston Flash Drive and, at first it seemed okay, and after a week or two it went haywire on me; I tried and tried in all ways and yes, even contacting the seller and going the length of contacting Kingston to no avail... I did some research and found similar stories related to mine, where the drive just quit working, crashed or something similar and wouldn't format at all??? So my solution to this problem was somewhat simple, but cost a lot of money in the end, after having paid over 100 bucks for the Kingston, to only see it fail and nobody would take it back or honor it?
Thought on it overnight and when I woke up, I ended up later that day buying a brand new 64GB Transcend JetFlash V20 USB 2.0 Drive, which has and is working like a charm! I wouldn't rec buying this Kingston 64GB or the new 128GB for God's Sake Please unless you wish to flush money if you understand me... Good luck all and if you end up buying this drive, I sincerely hope it works great for you?

I purchased this Kingston USB Flash Drive on Amazon.com.
The seller was other than Amazon. I did receive it very fast and
the packaging looked legitimate.
The first thing I always do is format. I was unable to format this one.
I contacted Kingston Tecnical Support. After looking at it closely, the markings
of a legitimate Kingston were missing. It is indeed a counterfeit.
Apparently, there are plenty of these out there being sold thru reputable
sites. Beware!!!
The seller has been very cooperative so far, I returned it this morning.

I have bought 2 Kingston 64 GB Data Traveler Flash Drives those are the biggest data sticks available and Amazon offered the Kingston at the best price by far.
I use them to transfer my files from one computer to another and no longer have to schlep a huge external drive which takes up a lot of room, is heavy and is easier to damage while packed in a suitcase.
