Needed a card eader to read SD format cards on an older computer (5 years is old?) Does what I needed. Went with Kingston based on past experience with Kingston products. I bought this because I needed a card reader to handle my 8gb Compact Flash card (on a Mac). There aren't too many readers that will handle these cards, but this one works great. I've also tested by 8 gb microSD card and that has worked well too.Customer Review: works fine

I use it on windows XP and Mac OS 10.1.4 and 10.1.5 without any problem. I've used Compact Flash Cards up to 8GB and Sony Memory Sticks (full size as well as duo) up to 128MB and SD card (2GB) and it has worked perfectly with all of these cards.Customer Review: Good Card Reader

Very Fast Card Reader. It's faster than my internal card reader in my desktop. The USB connection is funky, with a short USB cord with an extension instead of a mini USB-b connection. It even has a port for MicroSD/Transflash, without an adapter.
