I'd like to say installing this RAM fulfilled all of my expectations. I'd like to say it was exactly what I needed to free up my horribly bottle-necked computer speed. I'd like to say that the success of this item would encourage me to buy a second to pair it with.
However, one issue keeps me from saying these things; the chip just didn't work. I don't know if I got sent a bad chip, or if the motherboard somehow didn't like Kingston chips, but since I installed it, my computer was awash with freezes and crashes. I tried every possible combination of RAM in the motherboard... and the only one the computer realistically operated in was the one the Kingston ValueRAM chip was not in.
If I can't find a different type of RAM for my system, then I may just order this again and hope that my problem was just a bad chip. But until then, I'll have to do without.

ValueRAM's KVR667D2/2GR is a 256M x 64-bit 2GB (2048MB) DDR2-667 CL5 SDRAM (Synchronous DRAM) memory module. The components on this module include sixteen 128M x 8-bit (16M x 8-bit x 8 Bank) DDR2-667 SDRAM in FBGA packages.
