Worked fine right out of the box on my Dell Latitude D630. For a better performance I would consider using a pair of the same memory (2x2gb or 2x1gb) for dual channel instead of upgrading memory from 1gb to 2.5 gb. (existing 512mb and Kingston 2gb).Customer Review: Easy to Install

I bought this RAM for an aging MacBook I own to bring it up to the 3GB upper limit my model could handle. Installation was super easy. Performance improvement is NOT negligible, but it's hard to see anything dramatic moving from 2GB to 3GB.Customer Review: Can't beat the price....
