This product was either defective or was severely not compatible with my computer. From the moment it was installed my operating system started with error messages. I had a message that my version of windows was not genuine and it tried to shut down every time I tried to open a program. I took the module out and everyting was normal again. I think I am going to replace it with a different brand.Customer Review: Does it's job

I had 3GB manufactured in my Laptop already, however, I wanted to expand the system memory to speed things up a bit. It did. The only problem is to get full functionality of your 4GB, you have to install a 64 bit operating system, which luckily I had both a 32 bit and a 64 bit version of the product on hand, otherwise, you might end up having to go out and buy a 64 bit operating system. This ram was great to increase system performance, it came in no time and was fairly cheap. I had 2 512mb modules on my DELL 1705/9400 laptop, so i took one out and(after reseting my Motherboard's BIOS by removing the inner 1.5v Battery) the system worked great. I had 2,5g of ram. I ran an extensive stability test with orthos for a day and worked great.

The product works fine; however, I wanted to add it to my 1GB Samsung RAM that I already had installed and it was not compatible. The product description didn't say anything about compatibility with other brands. Perhaps it's their way to get you to buy more products from the same company, but it isn't fair to the customer about this issue.
