I ordered this 4GB RAM along with an Iomega 1TB firewire hard drive yesterday and paid for regular shipping and received it today. (It did ship from Seattle and I am 30 miles east in North Bend)
It took me less than 10 minutes to replace the RAM cards in my 24" IMAC, plug in my hard drive (stacked with 2 other existing Iomega 750GB HDs) and turn everything on. 10 minutes....
I am now in the process of backing up 550GB of photos while running on 4GB RAM with Firewire connectivity, it is estimating 8 hours which is pretty darn good for 550GB of data.
No complaints here - very happy with the products & Amazon.

I put this into my iMac (20") with the Intel Core 2 Duo Processor 2.4 GHz (mid-2007 model per Apple). I originally purchased the iMac from Apple with only 1GB of memory. I have noticed a significant difference in the speed of my iMac when I have multiple applications running at the same time. I also run VM Ware Fusion and now that I have installed this memory it no longer bogs the Leopard side of the computer.
It was very easy to install (you can either use the owners manual or get the steps at [...]). I would highly recommend this product. The only down side is that I have a 1GB memory module that is just sitting around collecting dust.

I got this product from amazon yesterday, and installed it right away. I have a 15 " MacBook Pro (Late 2007) with a 2.4gh cpu. It came with 2Gb stock, which worked nicely. I just wanted a little bit more speed for 3D rendering and stuff like that. The installation is very easy on the macbook pro. just 3 little screws, and that's it. The computer recognized the RAM right away. I just tested rendering a few 3D models with the upgraded memory and it definately reduced rendering times. I can't say by a lot, but it did improve. I am very happy with the purchase. It is a very affordable upgrade for your mac, if you need more speed for multitasking.Customer Review: Great Deal!

I initially went to Best Buy to purchase this item and it was more than double the Amazon price. I ordered it on a Sunday and had it here by Friday with free shipping. I was very happy about the improvement in speed/program load times. I bought my IMac with only 1 GB of RAM (Store Model) If you want to do anything besides browse the internet on your computer, I would highly recommend upgrading the memory. It's easy to do and requires very little work. On a side note -- This is actually designed for laptops, but the IMac uses laptop memory sticks. Took me 10 minutes to Install. About a minute to get the screws out, 2 minutes to properly place, and another 7 minutes to get the screw back in, Now like alot of people say, There isnt a HUGE difference. The best difference between this 4g and the stock 2gb is that it opens and closes programs fast, shuts down fast, boots up fast, and locates any external or bluetooth fast. Other Than that it doesnt do much but run multiple programs without getting backed up. I highly recommend this even as me as a college student who couldnt decide if it was worth it because living on a tight budget. I still bought it and is VERY happy with it. :)
