I bought this card and a 150x 1GB secure digital card for video on my Canon SD-450. I noticed no difference when taking pictures or video when using this 'slower' card. For the price I paid for the higher speed card I could have bough two more of these.
I want to emphasize this is just with my SD-450. Results may differ for different people (or newer cameras?).

We all know that the price of memory cards has been dropping and that Kingston makes a dependable product, but just over [...] for one GB of flash memory is a real buy, so of course I jumped to get it!
I've just used the card in my Nikon S7C Coolpix camera and find that the 500 plus photo storage is wonderful! An excellent product at an excellent price.

I'm afraid I don't know a lot about this technology. I went for economy and I am getting very good quality photos. I think I would have liked more speed in taking successive shots and I really don't know if a different flash card would have made a difference or if the camera is slow. Its still faster than my old one so I'm generally happy. Hope this is some helpCustomer Review: Great product

I bought 4 of these because the price was so good. I use them in my cell phone and digital camera. The speed seems fast enough and I've not had any errors. The ones I've used in my camera see a lot of hard usage with frequent writing and deleting along with an occasional reformat. They have never failed me, unlike other SD cards I've used in the past.Customer Review: Holds way too many pictures

I don't know what I was thinking getting this for my mother. She waits until there are 2,000 pictures on the card before she does anything with them. This is an excellent product but no one needs this many pictures on one card! I will talk to her about maybe using the video mode and a taking higher quality pictures so there's not so much usable space.
