I love this little thing! I remember the days when 1G cards were so expensive that it just didn't seem worth it to pay so much for something so little. Now that everybody's making them; the prices have thankfully gone down.
Kingston is suberb! I have no problems with this thing since purchasing it in October 06. It's very fast, loads programs very expeditiously and I can't wait to purchase the 2G version....I use it in my Palm Tx; so far I got one movie on it and many pics( too numerous to mention)! YOu may be worried about buying a SD card thats not a 'Lexar' or a 'Sandisk' or any of the big memory card names, but don't you fret, this is a great value and you will wonder how you were able to function without it

I don't have a lot of experience with other cards, so I can't do a comparison, but I've been very impressed with this brand. It's much cheaper (at least, it was when I bought it) but performs well and holds a lot. I probably got 130 pictures on it shooting at 10 MPs, and I expect I could squeeze a lot more on with a lower pixel count. I'm probably going to end up getting 2GBs to have on hand if I go anywhere, but this is going to be enough for most people who have a computer fairly handy. (Since I do, I rarely max out the card-I hate to wait to see how my pics look blown up onscreen-but I routinely shoot 80-90 without trouble.)Again, if you're shooting at less pixels, I expect you could probably go to 200 pictures.Customer Review: Very reliable product for great price

I've purchased several Kingston SD memory cards over the past 9 months for my Canon SD600. When I switched over to the SD format from the smartcard I was pleased at how reasonably priced they were. Ar first I was leary about straying from the popular Sandisk brand card but the cheaper price of the Kingston cards made me give them a try. Now I feel great about the Kingston name. Their cards have worked flawlessly, in fact the only cards I've had trouble downloading from were some Sandisk ones I still have. I also love my TravelLite card reader (Kingston)...it's great. Highly recommend their cards, only ones I shop for right now.Customer Review: High Speed, Great Storage Capacity!

Memory cards are all pretty much the same, but one thing that stands out about this one is the high speed. I have a feature on my digital camera that allows me to take 3 pictures per second until the memory card is full (which is over 600 pictures). This is the only card that I have found that has a high enough write speed to handle the infinite number of pictures. Most other cards lag after only 3 pictures.
The transfer speed to the computer is also pretty fast--I recommend an external card reader rather than plugging in your camera, unless you use a dock.

Most people won't need a 1GB SD Card for their Kindle (or any SD card at all), but at this price, overkill is fine!! It worked perfectly in my Kindle as soon as I inserted it in the slot. No need to spend more than $6 for an SD card for the Kindle.
The "Complete Works of Shakespeare" take up 2.9MB in MOBI format, so you should be able to store 353 very large books on this disk in addition to what can be stored in Kindle memory. The average ebook is about 500KB, so you can store up to 2000 files.
Perfect solution.
