I bought this because the price was low. I found that product itself was cheap. The problem? It failed to read the card the moment it was inserted. In fact, it did not read at all. I had to finally unplug and replug the cord to the docking station to make it work. Does not matter what type of memory card you use (I used both SD and CompactFlash.) I am going to purchase a more solid product by paying $10 more.Customer Review: A great Reader

I have multiple cameras, and one of my favorite features is that this reader can support multiple types of cards plugged in at one time. If you have a SD card and a CF card, both can be inserted and read/written to without having to switch out the cards. Very nice reader for a great price.
The Blue LED is very pleasant to look at.

I bought this to use with my new 2GB Compact Flash memory. It transfers files quickly and works well with windows vista. Appart from CF cards I've used it to read/write memory stick (normal/pro/pro duo), Transflash, SD and MMC cards. So far no complaints. By the way, it's much smaller than it looks in the picture which is a nice addition when travelling.Customer Review: Works OK, light, versatile. Beware error in description.

I have used SD and SmartMedia cards so far (at the same time), and the unit works flawlessly, no loose connections or problems reading the cards.
However, please note that the "microSD (SD adapter included)" description is incorrect, it is NOT included (the package even reads "MicroSD adapter required").

This handy little item works exactly as advertised. I will accept any of the memory chips currently in use with digital cameras. Of course, it can be used to both read and write to any of those memory chips for any other purpose as well. It is USB II and very fast. It is simplicity personifid.
