I got this product to go with my 2GB drive in hopes of porting documents and music files. After a day of use, the only thing I'm able to do is pray my files stay on the flash drive without any problems.
I would not use this drive to work from because it seems when the system "hiccups" the drive deactivates and files are lost.
I would not recommend this flash drive to anyone else, no matter the cost

Have to give kudos to Kingston for this drive. I forgot it in my pants pocket before doing my laundry. It went through a full wash and spin cycle and about 20 minutes in the dryer on high heat before I heard it rattling around. Figured the 3000 or so pictures on it were gone for good, but popped it in the PC and everything worked fine. And my photos were so soft and fluffy! Honestly though no complaints here. I like this product and use it with my Pioneer car stereo. I would give it 5 stars except it can be a little bit difficult to insert. You have to push the slide forward and hold it with your thumbnail so that the connector end is extended and the least bit of pressure the slide wants to back up. It would be easier if there was a lock position on the slide, but the stick performs great for what I use it for.Customer Review: STAY AWAY

This thing is awful. Seriously, I have only one time hated something so bad to where I have got on Amazon and left a response. This thing just simply does not work. I know all the reviews said that it is good but maybe I got a bad one. Either way, it would lock up my cpu everytime I used it, and it would have the most random errors. This is compact memory stick. Great space for video, virtual machines did I mention it was small.
It needs a sturdy switch mechanism. Feels flimsy. Not a reason to not buy. Works fine.
I would also add a connector that has a quick release clip so I can find and put away quickly.
Overall I like it and I use it weekly. Will buy another one, maybe the 32gig version.
