Digital Cameras Photo Reviews of Kingston DataTraveler 100 - 16 GB USB 2.0 Flash Drive DT100/16GBCustomer Review: Great 16 Gig Flash Drive Summary: 5 Stars
I work with an Apple Macbook Pro and this item works flawlessly. So far after a month no problems. Yes I recommend this item but just remember, like any other external drive make sure not to remove while it's reading or mounted on the computer because you run the risk of corrupting files and the flash drive won't read or write anymore. Hope this helps.
Customer Review: Great little worker Summary: 4 Stars
I bought this product to do some major transferring between 2 laptops. Hasn't failed me yet. The speed is pretty decent but not the best for a Kingston product.
My only criticism is that the casing looks flaky. I feel like I am going to break it if it falls. On the other hand i did drop if a few times and it still works great.
Customer Review: It does what it does well. Summary: 5 Stars
It's a flash drive, works well, does what it does without any other software, and generally good, the only thing that can be bad about it, is being scratched easily, but that's just for cosmetic purposes. there is also the issue of maybe dust getting in the port, but I have not had issues with this yet. Doubtful that I will. Great flash drive.
Customer Review: I use it all the time.... Summary: 5 Stars
Great flash drive. I've always loved Kingston when it comes to data sticks.
I have enough space to take all my tools/data around with me (16GB) and even throw a few TV shows and movies on it every now and again :D
Drive seems stable and reliable, works every time.
For 30 usd I'd say it's a great product.
Customer Review: terrible design Summary: 2 Stars
Pros: Fast
Cons: there is no lock when the drive is in the extended position so if the USB slot offers any resistance it slides back in. You have to keep pushing the slider mechanism to get it inserted into any USB slot properly. Also it has no cover so although the tip is protected from damage when it is retracted, it still gets dirty.
