Digital Cameras Photo Reviews of Kingston 4 GB Class 4 SDHC Flash Memory Card SD4/4GBCustomer Review: Unreliable - Disappearing Pictures Summary: 1 Stars
I had this card in a Panasonic DMC-TZ5 camera for about a month, and in that time the card experienced a "read error" on three separate occasions that resulted in all the pictures currently on the card disappearing. I called Panasonic customer service and the first question they asked was what brand card I had. When I told them Kingston, they advised me to get a new card, as nearly everyone who complained about disappearing pictures (in any model camera) had a Kingston card. I'd much rather spend a little more money and actually have my pictures!
Customer Review: Didn't work with my camera... Summary: 3 Stars
Bought this card with my Panasonic Lumix FS3 and it was a bad experience. First of all I lost alot of photos and then I did not really know if it was the card or camera. I emailed Kingston and they said send it back. I did and the new one did the same think. I wasted alot of time and it cost me mony in gas and wasted time.
Don't recomend for a camera of any kind. I purchased a Panasonic 4gb class 6 SDHC card and it works great. I had to because it was recomended in the owners manual and I had to verify that it wasn't the camera.
Customer Review: Wish I had known before buying.... Summary: 2 Stars
Wish I had know before buying this memory flash card that I couldn't use it with my Dazzle Hi-Speed USB 2.0 memory card reader nor my HP Photosmart 3210 All-in-One memory card reader. The 4 GB storage is great, but as I haven't been able to download all my photos, I purchased a new USB memory flash card reader from Amazon. I think my other two devices weren't capable to handle the 4 GB, though, they did fine with the 2 GB memory sticks I have. So, my problem isn't with the Kingston SD4, it is with my readers.
Customer Review: Great SD Card for the Money Summary: 5 Stars
I was looking for an inexpensive, relatively fast, well known brand SD Card. That is what I found here. I do not think you can beat the $10 or so dollars I paid at the time for a 4GB sd card if you can, let me know where). It is pretty straight forward and works like any other SD card I have ever used. Worked with my camera and card reader (internal and external) straight out of the packaging. It also came in decent packaging, not hard to open but it felt protected.
Great unit for the money.
Customer Review: It's a memory card Summary: 5 Stars
Well, to be fair, it came a few days early and was shipped separately by Amazon to make sure I received my products as soon as possible. It was free along with the purchase of my Canon camera. I have only used it a couple times, but it appears to be fine. I hesitate to use it for more important items like my camera pics because of some of the previous reviews. It is used for my MP3 player for expansion and also to move files as needed, which it does very quickly. Other than that, it's a memory card.
