I ordered this card for my Canon Power Shot SD1200IS. It is a good card, for the money & for what it is able to hold, but at the time I got it I was really wishing I could have found one that was able to keep more in memory.
I was video-taping my Grandson's 2nd birthday gift-opening & it stopped in the middle of it, card full! So, I had to grab my daughter's camera (she has the same model, but her card is bigger) & we were able to record the rest of it!
I think the best thing to do is perhaps be sure to have 2 or 3 on hand for situations like this; then empty the camera onto my laptop as often as possible, lol!!
Other than that, it is a good card for what it is...and the quality is good, too. The speed is fine, as well. I have no complaints there.

I purchased the memory card as an Amazon suggested accessory for the Tom Tom One XL-S GPS system. I followed insturctions on the Tom Tom web site for installing memory and ended up erasing the map that came with the Tom Tom which made the GPS inoperable. What a disaster. After 6 hours of multiple emails and phone calls to Tom Tom, I was finally able to download and install the map. Moral of the story. 1) Do NOT believe that the suggested accessory works with the device you are buying, and 2)double check with the manufacturer when buying accessories. The Tom Tom One XL does not work with HC (High Capacity) memory cards, and Tom Tom recommends only using a 2 GB standard memory card. PS I still haven't been able to add memory to Tom Tom One XL-S GPS.Customer Review: good general card

This is a fine little SD HC card, and I am using this card in my point and shoot Panasonic Lumix camera. Although the read rate seems a little slow, its probably because I'm used to taking lower resolution pictures than my new Lumix 10MP camera takes. A picture download may take 3min to 8min for an average shoot, but I don't really care, since I'm putting these pics on my computer. There is plenty of space for videos too, and playback is fine on the camera. Pic playback on the camera is fine. Overall, I think you probably would not notice the speed unless you are a pro or picky. Make sure your device or camera will accept HC type SD cards or it will not work. Kingston is a big supplier and I wanted a card from a major manufacturer.Customer Review: Cannot be read/recognized in my computer!

I got the 4Go class 4 card. The card works ok in my camera (Canon G9) but when it comes to read it in my computer reader (ASUS Laptop 2007), it does not even know it is in there, so I cannot do anything about it. I believe it is a problem with (relatively) old laptops, but when you pay a premium card, that price, you can expect that it would work without problems in any computer...
Now I have to use the USB cable of my camera, which I found much less convenient that using directly the card (especially while travelling, does not use the camera battery). So if you are in my case, I don't recommend buying it. I bought it to upgrade from my 2Go Sandisk that works perfectly and resulted in using my previous one as the default one...

I recently bought a Fujifilm S700 to replace a Fujifilm F20 and had to download the software to be able to use this card in my camera. With the new update, I was able to just pop in the card and viola! It worked great! I can video record many clips and have space for many pictures. I mainly bought the 4gb size to record longer video events so that I wouldn't have to use my older and larger 8mm camcorder. I've had this card for one month and during that time that I purchased it, it was a good alternative to getting the 8gb card whose prices are still a bit high. Although the digital video quality is not nearly as good as the 8mm tape, it does the job and it's much easier for me to transfer to a DVD.
