Customer Review: I will never buy Kingston again

This was my first, and last, Kingston product. I have had this memory card for exactly four months. I went to upload my pictures to my computer, and received a message on my camera that said "communication error." I tried a different USB cable, tried the card in a different camera, etc., and nothing worked. I was quite upset because I had a number of vacation pictures which could not be removed from my camera. I contacted Kingston, and received an e-mail back which in essence told me there was no guarantee of ever being able to recover those pictures, and also informing me that they do not offer data recovery services.
To add insult to injury, if I want a new card, I have to mail this one back at my expense. Some warranty - I pay to return a poorly made, crappy card, in order to receive another poorly made, crappy card. It's not worth the time or money. Stay away from this brand, and save yourself a lot of aggravation.
Customer Review: Sluggish with Canon Powershot S90

With image size on my S90 dialed down to a lower 6MP (max 10MP), I find that the camera does not show the image on screen right after taking it. Sure it's a fraction of a second of lag, but the delay prevents the next shot from being taken immediately. I did a low level in-camera format of the card just to be sure. Same thing. The Kingston also cannot keep up with me during playback when I press the 'next' button in quick succession.
Just to make sure the camera wasn't at fault, I put a Sandisk Extreme III 4GB SDHC into my S90. This is a faster card to be sure, so not intended as a 1:1 speed comparison, but there was no discernible lag when taking 6MP pictures or playing them back.
Don't get me wrong--the card has worked so far for all still shots. All I'm saying is if you own a Canon S90, do yourself a favor and go for a better brand if you don't want to jeopardize your next shot.

Compré esta tarjeta para usarla en el estereo de mi auto, de ese modo eliminar todos los CD's. Cuando recibí la tarjeta, desafortunadamente no funcionó correctamente. Diferentes dispositivos la reconocían, pero no era posible grabar en ella (aun cuando la pestaña estaba en la posición de grabar). Notifique a Customer Service de Amazon, e inmediatamente me enviaron un reemplazo que funcionó perfectamente. Adicional, Amazon me reconoció un credito por la devolución de la memoria defectuosa. Es siempre agradable comprar en Amazon, por la seguridad y confianza que nos brinda. Desde Panama, Rep. de Panamá.
P.D. Consigue un estereo de autos, que utilice tarjetas SD, y así podrás eliminar la carga de CD's que llenan la guantera de tu auto.

The Kingston 4gb SDHC memory card, like all other Kingston products, is an exceptional piece of equipment. I use it with my Canon SD1000 and I get nothing but blazing fast write times and no headaches. Make sure your device supports SDHC because if not, it will not work. This is a key reason why people are left "unsatisfied" by what they get, not because of the product, but because they did not do their homework.
Buyers, you should really take note that, most reviews on any site about not only Kingston, but other great brands, is heavily altered by idiot customers leaving comments to attack the site that sold them the items. So don't quickly judge an product based on how many stars it has, because honestly, you cannot take that into consideration unless you have read every review posted.
Customer Review: FAILED after two days - AVOID THIS !!

Bought this memory card along with Kodak digital camera. Worked fine for first day, however I was at my daughter's track meet when the thing just quit working -- Camera indicated an error and told me the card needed re-formating (of course I would lose all pictures at that point). Tried to re-format the card and that failed as well !! Luckily there was a store nearby where I could quickly run over and buy another memory card so I could capture pictures of my daughter. I've had several other memory cards by various manufacturers and not one of them ever failed. This card is junk!! The last thing you ever want to happen is your camera memory card to flame out on you, losing all captured pictures and be left stranded with just the internal memory available. DO NOT TRUST THIS CARD !!!
