Microphone works beautifully (and was very reasonably priced, even not on sale). I got it in order to use Dragon speech recognition on my iPod Touch. My speech gets recognized really well, so pick-up quality must be at least adequate! It's also cleverly designed. You can clip the whole unit (the size of a really big vitamin pill) to a keychain, etc., and then, to use it, slide the microphone part off to plug into the iPod. Great product!Customer Review: Great

I have had this for 2 months and use it almost everyday. I have attached it to my iPod touch and use it to record lectures. It works great. Obviously, it works best the closer you are to the person you want to record. But it works just fine from the back of the room too, as long as you don't mind having to turn your computer volume up to hear it! I love how tiny it is. I don't even have to remove it when I play games on the iPod.Customer Review: Works, cheap, no speaker or earphones though

Okay it is cheap, it works, it is small. For use with something like taking voice notes or Dragon Dictation it is fine. However just be aware that on my iPod Touch 3G when the microphone (or anything else) is plugged into the earphone jack the internal speaker is shut off, and of course there is no place to plug in earphones. So it can't be used for Skype or any other application where you'd need a microphone and a speaker.Customer Review: mini mic

this tiny microphone is so perfect for the rare times I need to use it with my itouch. It is a must have for Talking Carl which the kids cannot be without, and the mic is no larger than a vitamin capsule and with a cord to hang it, it attaches nicely to the itouch case so it is always close at hand, not lost in the bottom of my purse. AND you cannot beat the price!!!! Just pay for shipping! What more could you ask for?!Customer Review: It falls out of the cap!

Good product! Works great! I thought it would be a good idea to make use of the cap's little hole and keep it hooked up to my keychain so I can carry it everywhere I go along with my iPod touch. It fell out of the cap a couple times, but fortunately it was just in my pocket. But this time I pretty much lost it. It's great at what it does, but if you want to take the "keychain" route, I suggest buying a couple more.
