The product is a great concept keeping travelers in mind. I have used the product when converting from US to UK and converting UK to US. The US --> UK worked great due to 3 pin mechanical support. The any --> US is poorly constructed, no 3 pin mechanical support hence the adapter hangs due to its own weight when plugged into US power slot, and if you have a heavy power adapter like for speakers, External HDD etc.. they will not hang in the outlet and will cause loose connection. If used else where it is good, however not recommended to be used in US with heavy power adapters.Customer Review: Excellent price - Worked Perfectly

Took this All-in-one travel plug to Hungary, Serbia, and Austria. Never had an issue. Totally familiarized myself on it's setup before I left the country. Also brought the little paper instructions with me as I had seen some reviews with folks struggling on the setup. Not sure what problems they were having - as I had no issues with setting it up and using this throughout my trip. The price was better than perfect and I would highly recommend this product. My experience is only on it's use in Europe. If that's where you are going, don't waste your money buying anything else.Customer Review: not worth the money or grief

I bought one of these since i travel every month or more to Europe and needed something that would fit in European outlets. the first one I bought was very unreliable and did not keep a connection unless i taped the device to the outlet. I returned it and got a new one, but the new one was just as bad. It worked sometimes, sometimes not. After having to use shims and tape too many times, I threw it out. This plug is clever, but very cheaply made and is probably a fire hazard as well since several times it shot out a lot of sparks when I was plugging it into a socket.

Even after the not so good reviews, I decided to go ahead and buy one. Having travelled 1500 miles in England and scotland, 1200 miles in Spain, 21 different hotel rooms. I wish I had 2 of the adaptors. I took note about the locking switch and after that it was GREAT. People said that the prongs did not stay out when they plugged it in, just make sure that the lock slide is in place and then no problem. I am going to order another one. Simply to charge camera, computer, phone we could have done with another one. I give this 5 stars and would recommend it.Customer Review: Does not work in UK

I bought 4 of these for use in the UK. The UK requires that all three prongs inserted into the wall socket be metal conductors. This unit uses a plastic insert for the ground; hense these units do not work in the UK. After several attempts and getting an electrician's advice, I threw these units away. Fortunately, we had two straightforward UK to US adaptors with three metal conductors and they worked very well.
They do work as US to German adapters. I did not have opportunity to test them for any other of the ostensible countries.
