The Universal travel adapter was my life saver, since I'm quite the careless human who didn't plan his international travel with such issues in mind. I use an Indian cellphone charger (and other devices like laptop, electric shaver,camera etc), and needless to say I was in big trouble when i traveled to the US with my original charger. Amazon shipped my charger pretty quickly and saved my irresponsible a$$ :).
As far as the adapter goes, its design is compact and brilliant. I've never had any issues with it. The lock for the prongs are sturdy and the overall product feels stable and dependable.

I got this for less than a few bucks here on Amazon one day just thinking that if it didn't work I'd buy a "better" one. But little adapter has seemed to work everywhere I've taken it in the world. I've used this in London, Hong Kong, Barcelona, and Beijing (with dual voltage appliances, of course) and it performs beautifully everytime. Also it's faily small for an all in one adapter, so thats a plus that I don't have to carry multiple adapters when I'm visiting multiple countries in one trip. Be sure to put the prong lock on whenever you're plugging it in and then it will stay in the socket better.Customer Review: Perfect travel item

Awesome product. You can pay only a few dollars here at Amazon for this worldwide travel adapter, or you can pay out the wazoo at the airport or novelty store for the same type of item. This adapter works perfectly, and it is quite a robust piece that isn't flimsy or fragile. I like how the European adapter sticks out a lot. Most people find that their other adapters don't work because the Euro plugs are recessed so far into the wall outlet that the adapter doesnt stay. But this one has no problem reaching in, and it doesnt fall out of the plug. This is certainly a steal for the price.Customer Review: Works - barely

This product is an idea that is not there yet. The unit does work but I have to set it into the UK outlet just right. The light has never come on although my BlackBerry and my laptop indicates it is charging. I have tried it for US and UK but I have not had a chance to use the European adapter yet. My recommendation is that you buy the plain, cheap ones for individual countries rather that a one type fits all. This item is quite bulky and saves you very little in space. The product is a great concept keeping travelers in mind. I have used the product when converting from US to UK and converting UK to US. The US --> UK worked great due to 3 pin mechanical support. The any --> US is poorly constructed, no 3 pin mechanical support hence the adapter hangs due to its own weight when plugged into US power slot, and if you have a heavy power adapter like for speakers, External HDD etc.. they will not hang in the outlet and will cause loose connection. If used else where it is good, however not recommended to be used in US with heavy power adapters.
