Customer Review: one major difficulty so far

I just received my All-in-one Travel Power Plub Adapter and immedicately encountered a major problem. I want to us my adapter in Spain so I have to use the UK set-up. The instructions for UK/Spain say to 'unlock' it and after the plug flips out, "pull out the white plastic pin". Well, this is almost impossible. The ONLY way I could pull out the white plastic pin was by inserting a knife in the space beside it and pry it out that way. It worked but I fear it may shorten the life of using this pin. I will not be in Spain until the end of November, so will not be able to see how it works in a plug socket. However, I am surprised that no one has ever mentioned the impossibility of getting to the pin without having to pry it out with a knife or something similar.Customer Review: Worked wonderfully in continental Europe

I bought this with some hesitation based on the mixed reviews, but it was the best rated small device that worked with mutliple kind of outlets so I decided to give it a shot. It worked wonderfully! I used it in Belgium, Germany, Austria, Switzerland, Italy, and France. It does not do voltage converting. The only electrical item I wound up using on my trip was my camera charger which I charged every night using this adaptor, I checked the manual ahead of time and it worked at both 110 or 220 volts so I only needed the adaptor (this is true for most camera chargers, laptops, and cell phone chargers). A lot of people's problems may be that they are using devices that also need a voltage converter (which are usually pretty large and heavy).Customer Review: Highly Adaptable

There isn't too much to say about the "All-in-One Travel Power Plug Adapter" other than "It works!" And that is all you really need to know for this type of item.
We took this on our trip to Egypt, which has the two round plug -type of socket. The adaptor worked exactly as advertised, and kept us in camera batteries for our whole trip. It didn't fit tightly into the outlet, and kind of hung off to one side, but because our batteries were smoothly charged anyways it was no problem.
The only word of warning is that this is nothing more than a plug adaptor for different shaped outlets. There is no Step-up/Step-down transformer, so it won't work for anything that doesn't have a built-in transformer.

I travel a lot between Asia & USA. This adapter has saved me lots of money. My laptop and iphone charger were of 3 pin Asian connectors and did not fit in US 2 vertical pin power outlets. I thought of purchasing separate power cables for both my laptop and iphone but then i saw this item. Voila with only a few dollar expenditure with this item purchase, i can use my default Asian power connectors here in USA. Just only a few bucks !
Just imagine how much money i saved. Just check amazon prices of laptop power connectors or iphone chargers. Add their price and you will find this few dollar investment much cheaper.
I recommend this product to anyone who is a frequent traveler.

I recently bought this adapter after giving my 3 year old one to another traveler. The adapter has given me very good quality service in Asia (India and Middle East), Europe and USA. My previous adapter (another manufacturer) is still going strong after 3 years of use, and I hope this will do the same. My only grouse is that it fits a little loose into the sockets in India. I solve that problem by inserting it upside down so the adapter's weight is above. This helps it not to fall out of the socket if I connect another heavy plug into it. Otherwise, it fits pretty good into other sockets. Keep in mind that the grounding point is plastic.
Overall, I am satisfied with the value for money.
