Customer Review: First impressions
Summary: 5 Stars

Customer review from the Amazon Vine™ Program (What's this?)
I've only had this item for a day so I will update further if necessary. But for now, I am pleased with the Kensington Wireless Presenter. It is comfortable to hold, the buttons have a satisfying click (it's weird but I am very particular about how buttons feel when they are pressed), and it couldn't be easier to use. I have a Macbook Pro running Mac OS 10.5. Plug and play. I didn't have to install or set up a thing! I was able to go back and forth in a Powerpoint presentation. I can't think of anything more convenient when you have a presentation to worry about. And the 1GB USB flash drive/receiver fits into the presenter (with another satisfying click!). The classroom I am in is not very large so I am never more than 12-15 ft away from my computer and it worked perfectly from that distance. So far, it delivers what it promises and performs the way I need it to.

Customer Review: Does what it says it will and does it well !

I have been playing around with the Kensington Wireless Presenter and overall, am very impressed by it. It feels great in your hand (not too heavy, not too light and very ergonomic) and it has a great range. I tested it up to 22 feet with no problems whatsoever. I love, love the idea of being able to store your presentation into the USB drive which tucks nicely into the presenter. I personally found it so easy to use that I did not refer to the guide although yes, I agree, they should have a better manual, if not in booklet form, then via their website. As for the price being too high, I would probably pay upwards of $60 for it as it is well-built, powerful, and works as advertised. The laser is very strong and great for annoying your co-workers who might be nodding off during your presentation :-) In all, a fun and useful gadget that tucks nicely into your briefcase.

Customer Review: Great item, great idea.

Customer review from the Amazon Vine™ Program (What's this?)
This is a great item, especially when used to present powerpoint presentations. I use it to present short stories that I have written, with illustrations to children's reading groups. My only wish is that it had more memory. Memory is cheap and it would be helpful to have at least 8gb of memory instead of 1. I think it could be smaller than the current size, and should have some type of carrying case and a place to put a lanyard on it.

On the whole, I would recommend this item to people who do presentations to small groups.

Easy to use, intuitive.

It only gets three stars because of lack of memory, size and price.

Customer Review: Why is there no case for this product?
Summary: 3 Stars

I received my Kensington presenter with laser pointer and memory today. I was super excited b/c I think it's pretty ingenious to include an actual memory stick on which to save my presentations. The product works well and is the right size. However, what's NOT ingenious is the fact that there's no carrying case, sleeve, or protection of any kind that's either: a) included in the packet; or b) available to purchase as an add on. What gives? Besides this, I called the company and found out that - if you lose the receiver - you pretty much need to buy another device. This is probably true for other brands as well, but it seems to me that you can minimize the chances of accidentally losing the receiver (or separating it from the presenter device) if you have a convenient case to slip these parts into. Such a smart product ... and yet lacking on such a "duh" dimension. Very disappointing.

Customer review from the Amazon Vine™ Program (What's this?)
As someone who regularly makes presentations -- and carries a flash drive, which I frequently lose -- I found this presenter very novel and useful. The pointer shape is comfortable, not too big or two small.

Two possible improvements that I've noted:

1 - I would much prefer more storage space. I can quickly approach 1G by storing only one presentation, which for me is a large slide decks, images, and audio & video files.

2 - Some sort of storage case would be nice. Something to protect the device when I throw it in my bag.
