As others have said this is a nice compact laser pointer. I have msaller-ish hands and this fits perfectly into my hand. I love the fact that it comes with the 1 GB jump drive. It lets you easily store your presentations, files so you know they will not get lost.
The actual laser is fairly bright. The buttons to move the presentation along (forward/backwards) are fine. No complaints there.
I do have a couple complaints though.
1 - The instruction book had to be written by an ape sitting in a room for 14 hour just hitting keys. It's terribly laid out, nad provided the least amount of instruction for an instruction book I have ever seen.
2 - I found it odd that the only way to turn the laser on was to remove the jump drive.With the jumpdrive fully situated inside the component it will not work. Why not a simple on/off button?
Overall, this certainly serves it's purpose, but for the price you maybe better off buying a jump drive and one of those novelty laser pointers and come out ahead.

The Kensington Wireless Presenter is a great product. I've used it for presentations in my classroom and it worked flawlessly - literally just plug-and-play on any computer (I use PC's). No drivers, no settings, no syncing, etc. It was fantastic. Because of this ease, I will forgive the laughably scant instructions that came with it.
The product is really a convergence of three things that you need to give a presentation:
A presenter, a laser pointer, and a thumb drive. Having all these things in one product is slick and convenient.
As far as the physical aspects of the product, it feels sturdy, fits well in my hand (big) and my wife's hands (small). It is also rubberized, which adds to the aesthetics, as well as giving it a nice, grippy feeling.
The only problem I have with this product is its price. It just seems way too expensive for what it does. My guess is that because most people who need such a device will be able to expense-account it or at least write it off.
Highly recommended.

For those of you that regularly give PowerPoint presentations using a laptop connected to a projector, the Kensington Wireless Presenter with Laser Pointer could make life much easier for you.
This small Presenter/ Pointer fits neatly in your hand and allows you to switch from slide to slide (and back again) while moving about the room. You can locate yourself in the best position to communicate with your students or staff as long as you stay within 25+ feet of the dongle that will be plugged into your laptop.
It works right out of the box by simply inserting the supplied batteries and plugging in the USB dongle. Start your presentation and then begin your slide show. It is plug and play, no software to load.
Being a pricey little device, unless you give presentations on a regular basis, it may turn out not to be very cost effective. I see instructors and business leaders having the largest benefit of the Kensington Wireless Presenter with Laser Pointer.

I'm not sure what this does that your mouse and laptop do not. This is basically a remote control page-turner with a laser pointer, and a flash drive. I can kind of see the usefulness of being able to put a powerpoint presentation with remote in your pocket and take it with you, but in our business if we're doing a presentation, we need a projector which likely has a remote with it anyway, and you can pick up laser pointers at the dollar store these days. There simply was not enough functionality in this product. Larger memory capacity and more included functions such as mouse capability would have made this much more useful to us. I'm sure that this might be the answer to someone's business or education needs, but it wasn't ours, and I can't help feeling that there are items out there with more functions that are a better value. Overall it is a nice try and a cute extra to have, but I would get something a little more sophisticated for myself.Customer Review: We have used this for three years now.

I teach and often have students and guest speakers who need a pointer and slide advance device. I have used several such devices and have found that the fewer buttons the better. Guest speakers are always a bit rattled and students are just about as unglued as a person can get. Extra buttons will get pushed and will always cause unintended consequences during the presentation. Do your students and guests a favor and keep it simple. I have never had to tell anyone how to use this pointer. (If you like/need extra buttons on your pointer, then you ought get one with more options.) If traveling is part of your presentation routine, this device does not need to install any additional software (on computers XP and newer. It has worked on all Macs I have used, but they were all less than 3 years old.). That is nice because, unlike scandisk, you just plug this in, the computer recognizes it and your files.
Two cons: The memory really should to be bumped up. And the laser always seems a bit dim to me. The same pointer without the 1GB of memory has a great laser.
I have never had to replace the batteries.
I am getting two more today for new colleagues.
