This unit work with Windows 7 Ultimate (AMD Phenom II X4 945 64bit OS) & (Intel Core 2 Duo 64bit OS)(DDR2 & DDR3 @ 4GB RAM).
You can set the broadcast, encryption, security, auto-connection, & etc. You can transfer files back and fort through blue tooth connection. This device enable you to connect to your Cell Phone and Ear phone through blue tooth.

To their credit, Kensington does not claim Mac compatibility for this Bluetooth adapter. Somehow I missed that fact when I bought it, or I just assumed that any Bluetooth USB adapter would be Mac-compatible in 2011. I can confirm that this one does not work with OS X 10.6.6, at least on my Mac. It DOES work well on the same machine when it's running Windows 7 SP1.Customer Review: Palm Centro/Windows 7

Like many, had to buy this to sync Palm Centro now using Windows 7. Agree with not using included CD--plug in and let Windows install. For me, I had to do another step to get my Centro to sync, and that was to download an updated Palm Desktop application from Palm. I would recommend going here and following these steps to make this work:

I am totally impressed with this Bluetooth Adapter. After buying an El-Cheepo adapter off of ebay and dealing with it continually dropping connection, this adapter is fantastic! It just works!! I am running Windows 7 Professional and did not even need the included software. Windows just went out to the net and downloaded the proper drivers.Customer Review: Plug and Play

I bought this adapter to help connect a Toshiba laptop to a wireless Bluetooth Apple keyboard. The Kensington adapter works flawlessly. The really nice feature is that the device is so small. You never have to remove it after inserting it into an available USB slot. Also, Windows detects the device and the Kensington works. Great product!
