Digital Cameras Photo Reviews of Kensington K33902US Bluetooth USB Micro AdapterCustomer Review: Good Little Addition Summary: 4 Stars
Bought this product about 2 months ago and have been using it without any problems. I did not give it 5 because well I don't view it as a necessity, I use it with Skype and regular listening on my laptop without any problems, the range is very good and it even allows me to sync with my Treo without wires (when I figure it out). The software they sent didn't read on my drive so I just downloaded it from the site. Other than that it has been a breeze to use and I would recommend it to folks whose laptop does not have a Bluetooth option..
Customer Review: Little wonder Summary: 5 Stars
PROS: Bought it more than a month ago. This device does its job very well. It was just plug in and let (in my case) Windows 7 Home Premium do the rest. It took less than a minute for the Windows to install its driver. I did not use the CD and I do not recommend using the CD to install this product in Windows 7. Let Windows 7 do the work for you and avoid problems this way.
CONS: Small as it is, the corners are a little too prominent, and too sharp-pointed.
I highly reccommend this product. Deserves the 5 stars.
Customer Review: Eee PC Friendly Summary: 5 Stars
I purchased this adapter for use with my Eee PC 900A and my Sony Ericsson C905a (as a modem where there is no free wifi).
That being said this little device works great! I did not install the drivers that were included on the disc, and everything worked on both ubuntu and windows xp. The Sony Ericsson PC Suite is able to connect to my phone while still in my pocket, or backpack (approx 3 feet away). I have not tested the range of connectivity.
For me this device serves it's purpose.
Customer Review: Tiny and easy to use Summary: 4 Stars
Don't have much beyond the subject to say. The adapter is miniscule and extends out less than my battery pack on my laptop. I leave it in all the time when stuffing my laptop into my backpack and haven't had any issues. One caveat is that the adapter does not have a great range. I start having issues when I'm about 8-10' away or don't have a clear line of sight. Ah, the software is fairly easy to use but can sometimes be slow to respond (due to software issues or perhaps the adapter's responsitivity).
Customer Review: Good Product, Poor Documentation Summary: 4 Stars
I bought two of these; one for home and one for work. The documentation is next to worthless. Fortunately, being a technogeek, I was able to figure it out. Once installed, it works great. I would have given it 5 stars except for the documentation. As for the range, I too use it mostly for listening to music and it seems to work as advertised. It the music starts cutting out at around 30ft or so.
I love that it is so small. As the package states, it is designed to stay in.
