This adapter worked well with my Windows Vista PC. I did not use the software included in the box, I used the windows program to set the devise up and pair it with my other devise. I plugged in this adapter without using the installer CD and have had good results. It syncs well with my Windows Mobile device and my Motorola S9 headphones. The range is ok, starts to drop out at about 30 feet. The blinkey blue light is a little annoying but I can live with it.Customer Review: Works as advertised

Bought it, istalled it with CD and haven' t removed it from laptop ever since. It' s so small it needs pliers to get it out rfom the USB port once inserted in. There' s a blue LED light that keeps flashing and may be annoying at night.
Paired ok with my sony products.

This item works great. I have had no problems with it. I bought it because I have a Palm Pilot and running it on a 64 bit Vista system requires a bluetooth connection instead of the standard USB connection. Kensington USB Micro Bluetooth adapter is very small and easily fits in a usb slot. It comes with drivers but you are better downloading the lastest from the Kensington website. All my Bluetooth devices are sync with this product. Ideal for laptops.
