Digital Cameras Photo Reviews of Kensington Comfort Type Notebook Wrist Rest (82051A)Customer Review: Perfect for MacBook - Right size, Convenient, Portable, & Comfortable Summary: 5 Stars
Though it doesn't look pretty in the picture, it's actually the perfect size for a 13" Macbook, which many reviews don't tell you. It's total length is approximately 12" and has an opening of four inches and lays just outside the Apple track pad. Each Kensington wrist pad is 3" tall and 4" wide. The unit is a rubber device, foldable in half, with thin memory foam pads. very decent. see YOUTUBE for a product demo -convinced me in a jiff. Perfect for the college student always typing day and night in awkward positions.

Customer Review: It's ok... Summary: 3 Stars
This is ok. I was looking for a wrist rest that would fit over my laptop because of how the keyboard is set back. This fits and is made of flexible plastic, so that's good. The part where you put your wrists is pretty hard, not all that comfortable. And I have to consciously make an effort to position my hands in such a way that the base of my palm is sitting on it, rather than my wrist. (It doesn't naturally guide your hands into the right position or anything like that.) But that position is more comfortable with this product than without it.
Customer Review: not for thicker laptops Summary: 4 Stars
intended to use on my gaming laptop so i don't get oil stains from my hand on the nice finish.. with ergonomic support as well.. i guess its for the conventional laptops (not thick gaming laptops).. works very well with my ibm.. I still use it on my gaming laptop though.. still fits, just that it doesnt sit as nicely as it should..
bottom line.. i would still buy it if im given a second chance.. i recommend this product.. my gaming laptop is 15.4 inch, ibm is 14.1 inch.. haven tried on a 17 inch though..
Customer Review: Wrist Rest Summary: 4 Stars
I had always been a desktop guy and resisted a laptop partially because I found them uncomfortable to type on because of the harsh edge that pushed into my wrists. My need for a laptop now outweighed comfort but I got lucky and found this wrist week just a few days after the laptop arrived.
This a an excellent product that is well worth the price. While the preset distance between the two supports is OK it would be nicer to be able to adjust the distance as not all laptops are the same width.
Customer Review: Does the job well Summary: 5 Stars
I do a lot of work on my Apple iBook, and I need to be able to treat it as an actual laptop, i.e. use it on my lap rather than at a desk or workstation. When my doctor told me that I had the beginnings of carpal tunnel syndrome, I struggled to find a way to make my laptop more ergonomic without compromising my lifestyle. I ordered this as an experiment, and I am very pleased. It's comfortable to use and seems to do the job. My wrists feel much more comfortable.
