This mount does not work well. It looks bad, falls off my window, and is just plain awkward.
It was returned. Not recommended.
You should try the ProClip mounts. They are the best. They are made specific to match your device and car. You buy the device holder and then the car mount that is made specifically for your vehicle. They are wonderful. I bought a set for my iPhone 3G. I Love my ProClipUSA mount.

I'm very pleased with my Kensington MP3 car mount. It holds on to my iPod Touch very securly and the suction cup mounts the unit to the windshield (or dashboard)indefenately. The mounting jaws releases the player with a simple push of one button whenever I'm ready to take my iPod on the go. The car mount works with my son's Microsoft Zune and my wife's iPod Video, and I'm sure it will work with many other MP3 players as well.Customer Review: The BEST ipod/phone car mount!

The Kensington Car mount for iPod, cell phones etc is very well made of rugged hard plastic and the suction cup mounts on the windshield very easily and stays there even on the roughest roads and with the harshest of climates. As someone else said, it holds the phone better when it's in a case. I love how it rotates and the rigid arm bends any way you want it. Loved it for 6 months, then it would not stay closed and hold the phone in place. Somehow, due to either road vibrations or normal wear, the ratcheting sides would always pop back open when I closed them. Upon opening the device, I saw a tiny, tiny plastic post that had broken, rendering the ratchet inoperative. Flawed, poor design rendered this quite pricey mount useless after only 6 months. I use an iPhone 3G. This product works PERFECTLY with my iPhone suctioned to the inside front windshield of my Honda CR-V. The iPhone says very secure, it is easily positioned for optimal viewing and the suction device is a breeze to place on/off of the windshield. I put it into my glove compartment when I'm not using it. Besides the iPhone, this is one of the best purchases I've made in a long time.
