Customer Review: Bad workmenship, AVOID!

I have had this car adapter for less than two months and it is already broken. The internal mechnism no longer grabs the iPhone and hold sit. This is due to a little piece of plastic on the inside that broke. This is not a typical Kensington product experience. I have never had problems with their equipment except for this cell phone holder. Impossible for me to fix, I am out the moey on the unit now. One would think that you dont make the whole damn thing out of plastic, you need to have some better support for it. Oh well, live and learn.Customer Review: Does the job right

It's hard to imagine an iPhone/iPod car mount designed any better than this. I've had this product for about 3 months, and the suction cup has not failed at all. The arm is long and stiff, so it stays exactly the way your form it. You can remove your iPhone/iPod by pulling up and detaching the unit with the cradle (convenient for when you need to do something on the unit and then put it back right away). When you're getting out of the car, just hit the quick release button on the back and your iPhone/iPod falls right into your hand.Customer Review: wow ...actually very worth it

because I am cheap I debated just making do with propping my ipod up in the cup holder but decided to splurge on this instead.. definitely worth the $26 bucks. you can turn it on its side, great suction on the windshield, and its totally adjustable. Fits my ipod touch great, but would be awesome for any phone/gps etc. and you don't have to put it in the center of your windshield either. I actually put mine out of the way, to the left of the steering wheel. so yes.. very awesome and totally worth it. a very well thought out product!Customer Review: A confortable, durable and flexible holder!

Excellent product, It fastened itself to my windshield with little effort and stays there, its arm its flexible and sturdy and this package even comes with an auxiliary cable to connect to the car radio, with thin connectors to ensure it fits on even Ipods with cases, this was a nice surprise since I didn't expected it.
I have and Ipod touch with an iSkin on it and it fitted on the device without problems, also, the release button is handly, making you release your mp3 player quick and easy. Believe me, its worth it.

Great product. My only complaint is that since I live in Minnesota, and it is illegal to have anything mounted on your windshield, I tried to mount on dashboard with the double-sided tape that was included. The sticky part ripped off from the rest of the foam tape right away. I did find some great, industrial strength velcro tape that keeps it stuck to my dashboard. The quick release button is handy. My only complaint is the cheap double-sided tape that was included wouldn't keep mount to dash with my iPod Classic in it.
