Customer Review: Just What I Needed
Summary: 5 Stars

I own a Pontiac Vibe and the dash is such that I have been having a hard time finding something to house my iPhone. The car has a really steep windshield and deep dash so I was hesitant that this product would work. It turned out to be just what I needed. Fits perfectly and puts the iPhone within eye level, arms reach and out of the field of view for my driving. I was also very surprised at how easy it attached to the windshield with the strength that it has. With the way it attached, you would think it would fall right off, but it's like it's glued to my windshield. I especially love the way it allows the iPhone to rotate. My kids like to watch videos on there so the ability to rotate it to the side is awesome.
Great product and I recommend it to everyone.

Customer Review: shakes too much while driving
Summary: 1 Stars

It serves it's purpose, but I guess it could have been better. here are my pros and cons
Pros:
While driving, it's better than holding in your hand to see the map and/or whose calling,...etc.
Some parts are well made (but not all).

I would have given 5 stars if it wasn't for these Cons:
It shakes too much when you are driving.
To release iphone, you have squeeze the sides and press the button in the back.
Flimsy design to be used in horizontal position. there is no locking mechanism, so if you are turning or go over a bump, it may slip out.

Update 11/30/2010 3 * to 1*.
I tossed it in to garbage for the cons I mentioned in my original review.

Customer Review: Best Car Mount Ever Thought of for iPhone !!!
Summary: 5 Stars

I've been Using this car mount for my iPhone 3G since two months now and I love it, it's very rigid and stable and nicely made,The only tiny flow I found on this item is when you're driving along in bumpy roads it shakes a bit because of the its flexible sleeve.

Some people would say it's a disadvantage but I beg to differ because it made it possible to change the position view of the phone from an angle to another. So it's not just for the drivers to use the phone but as well as the passenger next to him.

I defiantly recommend this item for any driver who wants to get easier control of the iPhone while driving, especially those who listens and watch their music via the headset.

Customer Review: The idea is good, the quality is a little iffy...
Summary: 2 Stars

The concept and design are pretty good. It holds an iPhone very well without having to remove it from its case, which is a problem with a lot of other mounts out there. My biggest issue is that it wasn't up to Arizona weather. On the second day I used it, the rubberized coating around the arm split and peeled away when I left it mounted on a sunny afternoon. It still works very well with the bare metal arm, but cosmetically it's a little iffy. For the price it's not really worth dealing with a return, so I'll probably just spray some paint on it and be done with it. Other than that, it's a little large and not terribly adjustable, but that's the trade-off you have to deal with to make it secure.

Customer Review: Shake - rattle - roll
Summary: 2 Stars

The cradle design is truly inspired. Easy to mount and dismount the iPhone. Works with a case-covered iPhone, too.

Now as to the flexible goose-neck arm. The great Archimedes described the lever in the third century BC. That a relatively small force at the end of a long rod on a fulcrum would amplify the force greatly. Kensington missed this lesson. My little iPhone at the end of this long goose-neck arm, despite its seeming rigidity, shakes violently over any and all bumps in the road. Maybe if you're driving a Lexus or a Cadillac your ride will be smooth enough but not in a small convertible with sport suspension. Makes the iPhone totally useless for maps while driving.
