This is a well made product. It has a fit and finish far above the common "tubular key" locks that I have used in the past.
The "disk" lock and key look like they would be very difficult to defeat.
I really like this product. The extra quality and security are worth the added cost. I will definitely purchase again.

Product was easy to install on my computer, seated well with little or no wiggle. It was also easy to unlock and remove, something that many of these locks seem to have a problem with. I was well pleased and felt that it offered very good protection and a really reasonable price. Worked well for me on both an iMac and HP laptop.Customer Review: Did not fit a Sony Vaio ultraportable

This lock did not fit my Sony Vaio, maybe it fits other laptops better. Also the rubber bumper on the lock is easily lost and then will not fit well and scratch your notebook. I ended up purchasing the other Kensington that is advertised to fit thin laptops. The lock works just like any other laptop security cable. The keyhole seems more difficult to pick but one reviewer said someone was able to unlock it. I have used this to secure an HP laptop, the 15" MacBook Pro Aluminum and an Xbox 360. The rubber gasket does it's job in preventing unnecessary scratches from the lock.Customer Review: easy to use

I bought this for my daughter's Mac for her to use at college. It is a lettle heavier than I thought it would be. It is very easy to use and will be nice for trips to the library so she can walk away briefly if needed. I know it won't deter someone who is bent on stealing it, but it can provide some peace of mind.
