If you're giving presentations, this is definitely a great tool. You can wander away from the laptop or desktop and still page your way through the presentation, talking with your audience and explaining issues. The walking around both helps to keep you calm and focussed, as well as maintaining the interest and attention of your audience.
I found this pointer very easy to use - plug in and voila, you're all set. The batteries are easy to change, the unit is light, and it reacts well to commands even from quite a distance.
Highly recommended for anybody giving presentations!

I needed a device that would let me advance my PowerPoint presentation as I roamed a workshop, speaking. This one from Kensington works flawlessly on my MacBook. It has a nice, ergonomic grip. And the USB antenna tucks neatly into the handle of the wand. Its only minor drawback? I didn't award 5 stars because the laser pointer projects a tiny dot, not a big dot; it's a bit hard to detect. Not really a complaint: I hardly ever use the laser pointer and didn't buy the device for that feature. I'm traveling and speaking several times a month and now rely on this wireless presenter as essential equipment.Customer Review: Good!

Good powerful laser pointer, sturdy feel, and a nice pocket for the USB plug which turns the device off when plugged in.
The only feature I don't like is that when I press the laser pointer button, it also sends the "F5" key to the computer so that the powerpoint file goes to presentation mode starting at the first slide. They should have made it "shift + F5", so that the powerpoint goes to presentation mode only from the current slide.
I think they assume that people are using Microsoft Office, and always want the presentation to start from the the very first slide.

I bought this as a replacement for a practically new presenter that had broken to bits when it hit the floor. This presenter is good! Things I especially like: the dongle is pushed into the bottom of the handpiece for storage. When it is in place, the presenter is "off", so you don't have to worry about remembering to switch it off and running down the batteries. The dongle easily comes back out with a spring action. It is very basic. If you need fancy, don't look here. However, it is excellent for my work in the classroom.
P.S. I love the word "dongle"!

I am in a training profession and have been provided several different wireless presenters through work. Each one of them lasted only a few months, were always having to be reset, or just stopped working.
I bought this presenter for myself and have had no issues with compatability and it was completely simple to use. I've used it for over a year without having to replace the batteries. It ergonomically fits in the hand much more comfortably than other wireless presenters. I've liked it so much, I recently purchased 4 more to provide to my training unit.
