Digital Cameras Photo Reviews of Kensington 33374 Wireless Presenter with Laser PointerCustomer Review: april41951 Summary: 1 StarsCan anyone tell me if this - or another presenter - has silent buttons?? I am videotaping a presentation, and the video picks up the clicking on the presenter I tried. I need a silent one. Can anyone help?? Thanks!
Customer Review: Great Wireless Presenter Summary: 5 StarsWas using another presenter with a USB dongle that didn't insert into the base so I always had to put a rubber band around the thing to attach it to the presenter when not in use and hope it wouldn't get lost. The other one (starts with the letter "Targus") also had a very tiny power switch on the side, so the batteries would go dead on me if I forgot to switch it off (too many times). This Kensington is MUCH MUCH better on every level: heavier-duty construction so that it's more comfortable in hand, the USB dongle inserts into the presenter and works as an on/off switch, saving batteries and not getting lost in the bottom of my bag or worse, lost permanently. I use it all the time in my university classes as well as at conferences and it's well worth the extra $ if you don't have time to fool around with lesser quality products and designs that waste batteries. Note: it doesn't have a volume control, but I find I don't need it enough to be a bother.
Customer Review: Kensington Laser Pointer Summary: 5 StarsI've used other pointers with PowerPoint, but this one is most convenient, and works better than most.
Customer Review: Awesome Summary: 5 StarsAwesome.
Works flawlessly on Windows, Mac, zero (yes, zero) setup issues.
Very happy.
Could be smaller i suppose, but, whatever....
Customer Review: Simple and reliable. Summary: 5 StarsWe have used one of these at my church for several years, and it has performed very reliably. It may not have as many bells and whistles as some other remotes do, but this makes it simple to use for basic functions. We have had good battery life and no problems at all with range from the front to back of our auditorium. It has even held up to being dropped a couple of times with no ill effects.
