I was very unhappy with this product. The information on the web site states that this is good for chargers. When I received the product the packaging clearly stated that it is not for use with chargers. That was the only use I had for the adapter. I returned it and the cost of shipping, as I expected, and the cost of the prepaid label were deducted from my refund. I feel that I was penalized for incorrect information posted on the web site. I am usually very satisfied with my purchases from Amazon but this was not the case for this order.Customer Review: Shoddy construction

This same design is sold by several companies, and has two major drawbacks:
* European-style plugs come with prongs of varying thickness, including some where the thickness varies thoughout the length of the prong. This adapter is only able to handle the thickest ones when excessive force is applied and the mechanism will cause the thinnest ones to stuck so that you can not pull them off;
* The adapter consists of two parts which are linked in a fragile way, a break is almost certain to happen.

I've traveled to Europe a lot over the past few years, and it took me awhile to get the multiple-different outlets figured out. This is an incredible travel tool --it plugs into pretty much every outlet type throughout eastern Europe. My laptop power supply works great with it, as do most (check for 240V as a supported input on the power supply). Keep in mind, there is no voltage conversion --for instance, if you're going to the UK and your equipment doesn't support 240V, you'll also need a voltage converter.Customer Review: Worked Flawlessly

I used this adapter on my first backpack trip around the world. Worked flawlessly in Europe, Egypt, Thailand, and Australia. Its lightweight and small.
I highly recommend this product.
One note: the adapter is fuse to only 2.5A, so I could charge my phone and laptop, by it WON'T run a travel hairdryer. The adapter comes with a spare fuse (thank you!). I found replacement fuses at an old-school electronics shop in Paris, but not in `cell-phones and gadgets' stores.

The adapter has worked great in Ireland (except for the strange "electric shaver" outlets they have here, for which it does not have a connection). It's compact, but a bit large to fit in certain outlets. It's got a built-in fuse box (2.5A/250V) and a very convenient slot inside the adapter for a spare fuse, which is supplied. I also like that I can go from any input to any output, instead of just one US input to worldwide outputs, in case I bring any foreign appliances back to the US with me.
